Dark Chocolate Covered Strawberries



Here is a delicious, sexy, and healthy libido boosting recipe for you and yours this Valentine's weekend! The chocolate in this recipe is an ancient powerful aphrodisiac that also improves your mood and makes you more loving and romantic.

1 1/4 cup raw chocolate (cacao) powder
1 cup raw organic honey
1/4 cup melted virgin coconut oil or other cold-pressed oil
1/8 t. sea salt
1 tsp organic vanilla extract
16 ounces organic fresh strawberries (Strawberries should always be bought organic due to the high levels of pesticides)

Melt the coconut oil by putting the jar in a bowl of warm/hot water. Set aside and let the coconut oil liquefy. In a small bowl, mix together the chocolate powder, melted coconut oil, vanilla extract, and sea salt until well combined and smooth. Place in the refrigerator to chill for 10 minutes.

Spicy Kale Avocado Salad

I love kale avocado salad! Kale is a very nutritious green. Kale is in the same family of green cruciferous vegetables like broccoli, collard greens, and brussell sprouts. Kale is one of the healthiest vegetables you can eat and one of the tastiest. Kale is rich source of vitamin A, K, C, B6, and the minerals copper, potassium, and manganese. The latest research shows that kale is more beneficial for your eyes than carrots as kale contain two potent antioxidants known as lutein and zeaxanthin that are beneficial for eye health and the prevention of eye disease. Spicy Kale Avocado Salad

1. Take one bunch of organic kale and separate the leaves from the stems. (Put the stems aside for juicing)
2. Wash the leaves well and cut them into small pieces, first lengthwise, then widthwise.
3. Add a 1/2 teaspoon of Himalayan sea salt and 2 tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil. Massage into the kale with your hands. This softens the leaves.
4. Add 1/2 a ripe avocado and massage the avocado into the kale and mix well.
5. Add the juice of 1/2 a lemon.
6. Add 1 freshly pressed or minced clove of garlic
6. Add one chopped organic tomato.
7. Mix it all together and serve.
8. Add 1/4 teaspoon of organic cayenne pepper (or more if you really want to spice it up)

Serve in a large plate and enjoy!

The Hidden Dangers of Peanuts and Avoiding it

Yes, while peanuts are extremely healthy food, but there are a few things you need to know before consuming them.

First, purchase an organic brand of peanut butter. Peanuts have large amounts of pesticides used on them. Also, most commercial brands of peanut butter contain all types of added ingredients and fillers which you do not need. Organic brands usually do not. Sugar-free organic brands would be my top pick. Arrowhead Mills and Maranatha make some good organic brands.

Second, there is a mold that is often created on the peanut known as aflatoxin. This natural carcinogen is a very potent cancer causing agent that has been known to cause liver cancer and other negative effects. There is a slight risk for aflatoxin poisoning if you live in America but to reduce this risk follow this advice:
Buy all peanuts products from America. Aflatoxin and its dangers are literally unknown in America due to regulation and awareness. Most problems usually occur overseas so be sure to buy your peanuts from the USA.

Purchase pre-packaged organic roasted peanut butter. Prepacked peanut butter is less likely to have aflatoxin than self-grinding brands. Organic Valencia peanut butter is one of the least likely varieties to contain aflatoxin. Do noy buy do yourself peanut butter from a health food store.
Store peanut butter in a refrigerator. Discard in the rare case that it becomes moldly.
Buy organic, roasted peanuts (shelled or unshelled) at the grocery store that have been prepackaged. Valenica peanuts are least likely to have aflatoxin. Buy in small quantities and discard nuts after about a month.

Do not bulk peanuts in bulk nor grind your own peanut butter from a health food store. Studies have shown that do it yourself peanut butter has a higher amount of aflatoxin due to the fact that peanuts will be sitting out in the air for weeks if not months. This is also the reason why you should not buy peanuts in bulk either due to a higher risk of contamination.
